Six persons who were declared Bangladeshis living illegally in Assam were arrested in Kokrajhar district on Tuesday, police said. The Foreigners Tribunal declared these six, including three women, illegal migrants from Bangladesh. The declarations were made for some in 2006 and for others in 2011 but they were all absconding. DSP Border of Kokrajhar, Sorab Ali, said they were apprehended by a police task force from Gossaigaon sub- division of the district.
